Broad-spectrum UV filters

Filtres UV à large spectre

Organic filters, also known as chemical filters, are composed of molecules of synthetic origin that penetrate the epidermis to absorb UV rays instead.

However, these filters tend to degrade naturally and progressively in the presence of UV rays. It is therefore advisable to repeat their application every two hours in the event of direct exposure to the sun.

Finally, unlike UVB, UVA rays propagate even on cloudy, overcast days, and through windowpanes. Applying broad-spectrum UV filters on a daily basis is therefore essential to protect against their harmful effects.
