Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM)
Methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM) is a naturally occurring compound with powerful anti-inflammatory properties. It is found in small quantities in many foods, such as eggs, milk and onions.
A natural nutrient, MSM is composed of sulfur, which forms cysteine, which in turn is incorporated to manufacture keratin, essential for the growth and health of skin, nails and hair.
As an antioxidant, MSM acts as a free-radical scavenger, preventing damage caused by free radicals to the cells responsible for producing skin structural proteins such as collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin.
Finally, as an anti-inflammatory by nature, MSM also helps sensitive skin.
